This deck extension and wall modification connects the living room and dining room area to a commnading location at the head of a canyon overlooking the San Francisco Bay. It is scaled for husband and wife to enjoy this "perch" alone or to share with a party of 20+ guests.

Key elements include a perimeter deck rising 14 feet above grade which surrounds a second deck 30 inches above at the living room level, edged with a low seat wall, and a trellis which extends through the wall into interior to continue the design.

The perimeter is offset to the south to provide a point location where the best framed view of the Bay can be seen. The North side view is screened by trees.
